Feudalism

Feudalism

  • Feudalism is when a king takes land in exchange for military service or protection.
  • The lowest class in the feudal system is where the peasants and serfs work. The second lowest class is where the merchants, farmers, and craftsmen work. The middle class is where the knights and vassals work. The lords is where the nobility works. The monarchs is where the kings and royalty are.17aQQaR.gif (575×442)
  • The peasants and serfs worked for the lords and monarchs. Merchants, farmers, and craftsmen trade, farm, and make weapons. Knights and vassals protect the monarchs and the lords. Nobles take care of land like a landlord. Monarchs govern the whole system.
  • Peasants and serfs can work for their freedom. Merchants, farmers, and craftsmen, can work to get gold, homes, and get trading items.

Paragraph
Living in feudal life would be pretty hard. The nobles take your land so you can join the military. That is pretty harsh. I assume there is a lot of fighting if they had to do that. The peasants and serfs have it rough too because they have to work a lot. At least they could buy their freedom but that would be a long time. Feudal life sounds really rough due to the fact that there is a lot of fighting. Everyone has a job in the social structure. The very bottom is where all the rough work is. The top is nice because they are the nobles and monarchs. In the middle is like where the regular people are. I would not like to live in that condition because everything is scary and complicated.
